报告摘要:
This seminar will cover three recent research areas:
1) Fully Coupled Fluid-Structural Interaction (FSI) for Turbomachinery: A 1-1/2 stage compressor unsteady flow and blades induced vibration is simulated to investigate the Non-Synchronized Vibration(NSV). It is found that the tip circumferentially traveling vortices is the cause inducing the NSV. The methodology of the FSI, boundary conditions of rotor-stator interaction, phase lag BC, etc will be discussed.
2) The concept of Supersonic Bi-Directional Flying Wing (SbiDir-FW) to improve aerodynamic efficiency and reduce sonic boom will be discussed. SbiDir-FW rotates 90deg in the air between subsonic and supersonic mode to remove the conflict of aerodynamic conflict due to speed disparity between high speed cruise and low speed takeoff/landing.
3) The Co-Flow Jet (CFJ) Flow Control is a zero-net mass-flux airfoil flow control to enhance lift, reduce drag, and increase stall margin at low energy expenditure. The different CFJ airfoil configurations and energy expenditure with Mach number variation will be discussed.
